<div class="IPBDescription">They need help</div> I dont know if any of you know about kanonball but it is a sports team based hl mod. It has been around for a while, but it is badly in need of a programmer to help them out with thier server crash problem. Please help them, this game will be 100 times better if you do.

    Its cool for the 20 seconds i played, it kept crashing.

    Yes, hence the reason they need a programmer. One of the reasons they crash is it has to do with something about the lan configuration on the internet. I dont know its just weird.

    Valve has great mod support, if they have a problem I'm sure they could ask valve s:/

    Anyways, yeah - the reason I think it crashes is not because of LAN configureation on the internet. IMO I think it's related to the chat/scoreboard/player ID bugs. I'm not a coder, but when people join, sometimes they don't show up on the scoreboard to everyone else, and also you can't see thier player ID and you can't hear their chat.. It's weird.
    But then when that player leaves, the game crashes. Either that is causing it or overflow errors or something. I have no idea. I wish I knew how to code. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    pielemuis, if I recall a while back when they had a coder, they asked valve for help and valve never responded to them or didn't help 'em out or whatever.

    Sorry for the prolonged abscene - we've held off because we feared the next update could be our last. Our search for a coder has failed, and without a coder, we can't do ****.

    Yes, we could do more to advertise, but we've been through this many times now, and to have to start from scratch again with someone new is a burden i would happily forgoe.

    The kball team has moved onto bigger and better things, but we will still support our mod if someone comes along and volunteers their coding services.

    So, kball is not dead - but the coma could last a lifetime.
