    Heh, looks like it will come out a comic master piece. I'm glad people are starting to break away from this avp2 thing we got going on, because I'm getting tired of it. Keep it up, i'm sure the final product will be great. Maybe you could start a sort of Animal Farm-esque theme, with farm animals taking over deep space, lol.

    yeah I know 700 isn't much... it started out around 1000 or so though, so I had to cut it down, since most HL models are pretty low poly. I don't think it would work with gorg's animations very well, but I'll pass that hurtle when I get to it. Right now I'm having a PAIN trying to skinmap this puppy, I'm not too experienced with Max and I don't model very often, so I keep running into problems it seems. Whever I make a change to my uvw mapping it doesn't show up on the model... so I'm gunna have to figure out what I'm doing wrong.


    EDIT: actually never mind my problem, I just realized that the UV Mapping tool was getting in the way somehow, so I got rid of it.

    just a little bump-n progress update.... I have the model done as well as boneing and skinmeshing and all that's left is to make the actual skin. I'll be taking a shot at it probably tomorrow, but if anyone wants to take a shot at it also than I'd be fine in sending my stuff out. In fact, here's a little preview link for ya-all.
