NS2.exe hardlocks/freezes, must kill via taskmgr, after about 2hrs on build 229

In the topic "Freeze Crash" the powers-that-be requested a new thread be made for the following problem:
* In build 228, after about 30 minutes of play, NS2.exe would hard lock and you must kill it via task manager.
* In build 229, stability has increased to about 2 hours.
This a classic "This program is unresponsive" hard lock.
I'm personally running a HD 5870 with the latest drivers (catalyst 12.10) on Win 7 64 bit.
I have a process dump from NS2.exe during the hard lock if anyone is interested in me uploading it.

YES the minidump is the most useful thing you can provide, as well as any errors in the log.txt
