Explore mode broken in 230

Since 230 I only get a black screen after loading of the explore mode is done.

Joining/starting normal servers works fine.

    Yep, just confirmed as I was about to learn alien commander a little bit more.

    EDIT: An attempt by me to start a listen server (passworded) resulted in a similar error about referencing nil value and it just repeatedly floods the console log to the point where I could only read it from the screenshot because it scrolls way too fast. When this issue seems to occur, the [ESC] menu does not seem to come up and i need to type 'disconnect' in console to return to the main menu.

    I experience the same issue since 230. (same log in console)

    Joining/starting normal servers works fine also.

    this was ok for me, but last update broke it and i get black screen with build number in the corner

    I'm having the same issue. I just want to learn the mechanics of the game before going online.

    How do I revert to a previous, working Build? I have the Steam version and can't figure out how to install previous patches. Do I have to 'Delete All Local Content' then disable Automatic Updates?

    same issue here. Can i request a reimbursement for my purchase or must I clear that via steam? A game with no functional way to learn to play other than jumping into matches with seasoned vets is not what I signed up for.

    Yesterday I deleted all local content and re-downloaded the 5GB game after disabling 'Auto Updates'.

    It was at Build 230.

    I can't figure out how to backlevel the patch to an earlier version, this is something I've been doing for a couple of decades as new patches often break old functionality. Does any know how to do this in Steam? Is there a download section somewhere that I can use to go back?

    Creating a new private server seems to work but I can't do anything. I can't figure out how to go to commander mode. Which is why I want to get the Explore mode working.

    Today it installed Build 231.

    Same issue but the console looks different. Will post when I figure out how.
