I did most of the things you've tried and the start high thing coupled with a MUCH lower res is all I can do to get me to the end with 40fps, though it says 60 and it feels like 10.... NS2 is the only game I run at a much lower res!

Other than that people will say CPU over GPU and clock your CPU, which is not on for a single game but then this IS a work in progress and WILL, hopefully, get much better.

    All the best.

    You don't get it
As mentioned above I HAVE NOT LOW FPS ISSUE, FPPS IS GOOD WHEN GAME STARTS, IT DROPS AFTER 10 MINUTES OF PLAYING

Both my GPU and CPU are OverCLocked

The usual thing is this. The longer a game goes on the more stuff is on the map (structures, infestation and such). This causes the current increasing CPU load the longer a game goes on. The infestation is the biggest cause for this.

In your case there is something very odd going on. 3FPS after 10 minutes, that's highly unlikely to be related to overheating issues... However just t make sure, try and use the following free standalone programs to monitor your PC with NS2 running until the issue appears, to see if anything odd pops up on those (temps/load):

    <a href="http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z/versions-history.html" target="_blank">CPUZ</a> and <a href="http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/" target="_blank">GPUZ</a>

And have a look at your the profiler to see if the game is waiting on something (profile in the console), you can pause it using the space key and scroll through it using the bracket keys [ and ]. Could you also run the "TechSupport.exe" program in the "\Steam\SteamApps\common\natural selection 2" folder and send the generated zip file (using the save button) to tech-support@unknownworlds.com with a description of your problem (just link to this topic).

You didn't read what I put "all I can do to get me to the end with 40fps"

We ALL get low fps end game!

The infestation is set to "Minimal" in the configuration page, is there a way to disable it?

Already done that, non overheating and usual cpu/gpu load while running any game

Just did, i've noticed that there's not FPS drop if i stand still, but suddenly when i start to move it gets weird

    Here some screenshots:

    <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/alrf9fwqcd9alx3/sc1.jpg" target="_blank">Standing</a> and <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/5tu30vdq0brc90j/sc2.jpg" target="_blank">Moving</a>

Update: actually, moving foward/backwards gives no FPS drops, turining visual with mouse does (if it is of any help)

I e-mailed the original poster directly, but I will post here for posterity that the plog indicates for some reason Windows is spending a very long time processing messages for the main window.

I've never seen this before, so if anyone is having a similar problem I would be interested in hearing about it so we can determine the common elements (particular version of Windows, any 3rd party software, etc.). If you are experiencing this type of extreme FPS drop, please e-mail me at max@unknownworlds.com.
