<div class="IPBDescription">I had an Idea</div> How about like a holo room? like in star trek, open the door and whooosh its like outside, you can add testures to the roof and walls in some spots that look like its malfunctioning (showing the wireing and **obscenity**) to diffrenciate.

    i thought about that the other day, and came up with the same idea. but i decided against using it in any of my maps because ns SHOULD be enclosed, it makes it feel more claustrophobic and players feel more nervous if their playing space is confined.

    Well how about this...
    A greenhouse? It will have to be an enclosed area as you are in space and this will allow you to show off a huge scene of a cratered moon or a couple of planets, while having a space that should have plants, instead of just a tree in the middle of a metal grating.

    This is a similar idea to my vivarium hive idea. It will be like a rainforest exhbit at the zoo.. Not holograms but real trees etc.. sort of like a biosphere area.

    Making them holograms is a good idea too...

    a holodeck like area would be good for a small hive location, something jungle like, simular to thier home planet, I would still make it dark, with perhaps only a small moon to illuminate. Maybe a small number of "trees" from which the hive is hanging, a stream or pond, etc. it would have to be well labeled as a holo room tho, but i think it could work.

    lol, have you seen that Star Trek film where the Next Generation crew are on a pirate ship in the ocean!
