Been playing since beta and I think I can comfortably say that it is highly unlikely (as in winning the lottery unlikely) that there are aimbotters in NS2, currently. There are people who can land every single bullet on a skulk however without missing, consistently and legitimately. There are also those who use exploits, but there are no exploits for aim. Or at least there used to be exploits, I think all of them have gotten blocked out by consistency.
Anti cheat is sorely needed? I've seen a couple people MAYBE hacking...except I've had rounds where I'm so in the zone I've gone 45-5, not as good as some but nothing to be ashamed of. K:D means nothing, and if you're going to be making accusations you better have proof. Or better yet keep it off the forums. Name & Shame is a punishable offense because it does nothing but degrade the community without actually providing protection against hackers.

Last week there was an aimbotter who was on marines, then on next map went khammander, dropped a lerk, then had his way with the server. Kinda goofy how aimbots help aliens with melee attacks as well as spikes.
