I am wondering if the deluxe armor model is working.

I bought NS2 in 2011 and received the deluxe package after the game was released.

I enabled the armor in the settings but my marine does not wear it ingame.

It is like that since release. Once in a while I turn it on and off again or ask mate if I am wearing the black armor.

Any ideas?

    it doesn't show on your arms, if that's how you're gauging it. all the arms look the same.

    if you start up your own listen server and turn cheats on ('cheats 1' in the console) you can activate third person ('thirdperson' in the console) and see it.


    Also, in the settings there's a setting where you can pick which armor is displayed.


    Also, when you preordered, you should've gotten 2 keys. one was for the black armor.

    deluxe armor is still green, like the regular armor, only the special edition armor is black, which wasnt available after july 2010 i believe.

    ahh. so I was confused about the deluxe edition and special edition.
    so yea...my guy is green. deluxe green. never saw a diffrence ingame...I assume I have that other visor?

    well, I paid for one and got 4 keys alltogether =)

    Christmas Sale. buy one get two.
    but after release they gifted one key to every preorder or sth like that.
    so pay one get two and than two more =)

    Just load a mod to change how you look then :P

    Aliens see you as a orange glowy popsicle anyways, and other marines shouldn't be checking you out ^ ^

    unless maybe youre in the locker room showers together after one too many thirsty onoses?

    I'm loving my black special edition armor more and more with every day that passes by, because by now it's actually somewhat rare.
    During beta you could feel special with an green armor, as most people ran around with the black ones. Now it's the way it's supposed to be with black armor guys sticking out xD

    But while we are at that topic: Female Marine models! Where are they? Still planned? As of right now the Marine team already looks quite awesome with 3 different models delivering quite a bit of visual diversity, making 6 out of them would make that even more awesome.
