Hi, im working in a new map called ns_xpecial, its at 20%. I add it a lot of new features:
- 2 floors soported, Comm can see 1 floor or 2 foors pushing a only-comm-button. Comm can build in all floors
- 4 start points for marines (random or not)
- Map change each round, opening and closing corridors, walls...
- Some things only can be used by marines using a secret code that change each round (and only comm can know it.)
- A shuttle that can be travel betwen 2 maps points. (its at 80%)
Others cool things will be added to my map, but I only tell about things that are ready NOW. I need to know what people think about it, and post some pics:

Do you mean one random set start point?
I like the 4-marine-spawn idea.
Be neat to see that in more maps!
- 2 floors view its a secret still I finish my beta map.
- Walls than can be see or not each round its easy but its a secret too (coom cant "touch" to see and can´t see iit f a corridor disapear)
Its stupid secret, you only need to try it to do it, im not a supermaper. The rest of things are easy to do <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

the actual brushwork and textureing and lighting of your map kinda stinks but your idea, I LOVE IT!!! talk about original, Imma definatly going to watch you see what you do, need anything ask me I'll try to help ya!

The rest of the map its good for me (no the best), and it´s only at 20%!, it not have been optimizated.
I think i´m in the good way, isen´t it?

Really cool map, that! It could use some heavy texture fixes though, but I really like the idea with random marine starts!
Not to mention the insane rspeeds you are going to have considering that, essentially, there will be nothing blocking player visibility (entities don't count)... you've got some interesting shots out a window at the moment - but do you realise that rspeeds shouldn't go over 700ish?
The other thing of course - when giving orders to troops....how will players know which level to be on...all they will see is a destination waypoint....but nothing to clue them in to the multiple level fiasco..
Don't get me wrong - I'm all for innovation and new features...but this one doesn't seem very well thought through
If official maps don´t have it, its for they don´t knew it. 2 floors its more realist (think in a spacecraft with only 2D). I never make a map in 2D like in Duke Nukem or doom, NEVER AGAIN!
Perhaps troops can lost searching a waypoint in the 2 floor, but only think in the good things that can you do.
2º floor dont give more r_speeds than a big room,, I only see 20 r_speeds more when swich betwen floors in comm mode. Soldiers can´t see changes.
The secret code for only comm perhaps will be a stupid idea. Something important only can be use when someone enter a combination, so the combination are different each round (so aliens cannot know it), only in comm mode the code are visible, and comm can give it to soldiers. I think to use it to control the shuttle, that can bve travel betwen 2 points, and aliens never can use it. I accept more usefull ideas abut it, like only comm can see the combination when a soldier push a button in a control romm (that its a Hive)..
... I waiting ideas...

Im not even going to comment about the screenshots, as I don't feel right criticising a map that isn't finished or near finished.
the golden rule of thumb is just keep it as low as you can, unless you are working to a wpoly budget (like an official map submission)
