Game crashed a couple of times tonight with a "Error: IDirect3DVertexBuffer::Lock failed (Ran out of memory)" error.

That's a new problem for me...

GTX 480, Win7x64, everything updated, prophylactically erased the cache folder.

Streaming textures on.

Anyone else?

It seems that NS2 is actually accessing the memory that some vertex buffer occupies in a wrong way so that the buffers memory became corrupted.

I do not think that you can directly fix it, however as it also says it ran out of memory, it could be possible that freeing up some RAM could fix it, but I doubt that.

This is very likely something that UWE has to take a look at.

In order to help UWE or other people to track that issue down, you should provide more information about your system (CPU, RAM, Operating System) aswell as try stuff out of this topic: http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=122598

I have 6GB memory. I doubt freeing memory is the problem...
