Horrible Fps?

<div class="IPBDescription">how so?</div> I just upgraded to a Gainward GeForce 3 Ti 200 and my fps averages around 15!!!
Whats up with this, I got better fps with my crappy Diamond Viper.
Is there anything i can do to fix this, I dont want to quit NS now!
But, if i keep dying because of fps bogdown i cant play correctly.

Comments
1.make sure you uninstalled all hardware and software from your old card, it could be causing conflicts.
2.make sure your drivers are up to date.
3.check DXdiag *run:DXdiag* and make sure the tests all run and the memory matches what your card came with.. I dont know what it is, maybe 32,64, 16MB?
if it doesnt, you will need to reinstall drivers.. make sure you disable programs while doing this.
4.go into your video card settings and turn off Vsync, disable anisobric filtering.,. and change texture detail.
5.make sure your exectuble has the video set to default.
6..uninstall.. If nothing else works then NS probably thinks you have your old card.... you would most likely have to uninstall/reinstall both NS and Half-life (or CS)
It is possible your old card was better for some reason.. maybe the new one has things your computer cannot support?? I dont know. If nothign else works you will just have to live with it... or go to the old card... go the pinned "help for low FPS" to tweak out more.
