<div class="IPBDescription">Ho ho ho</div>Well, we were gonna actually sing this and make it an MP3 and everything, but that just didn't work out. Oh well. I figured I'd post it anyway, cause we worked quite hard on the lyrics. I hope you enjoy. I'll skip right to the end cause I don't feel like copy and pasting 12 times. :P

On the 12th day of NS, Flayra gave to me:

12 laggy servers
11 buildings sinking
10 kharaa sneaking
9 marines phasing
8 turrets spinning
7 fades a blinking
6 welders welding
5 primal screams
4 falling medpacks
3 trapped marines
2 busted spawns
and a newbie in the CC

    My family makes parodies of Christmas songs all the time. I wonder if I could record me singing this... er... well, I'm a good singer, but that's a big audience. <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Or, if I'm really lucky and can put up with the ridicule, I could get my family to sing it? Probably not. We'll see.

    Good job, though... and I like the light-hearted commenting on the NS bugs by playtesters.. excellent. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> It makes NS's faults warm and fuzzy.

    Ok, since the ice is broken, I'm going to have to do it tomorrow. What voice should I do it in? Normal? Opera? (heh) Electronically modified? Should I try and make it sound like different marines are singing different parts with Kharaa voices for things like primal scream and such?

    haha Vigilante. pretty good up till the end, you did 'and a newbie in the CC' a bit too fast. :P Though you didn't do it el proper, with the ENTIRE song, starting at one.. i.e.

    "On the first day of NS, Flayra gave to me: A newbie in the CC"
    "On the second day of NS, Flayra gave to me: Two broken spawns and a newbie in the CC"
    etc.

    Heh heh, sorry Doom; it was 5am and I hadn't slept yet (was waiting for Santa with my boomstick in my lap, wasn't gonna let him get away this year).     Although it's late coming, I thought I'd share this Christmas Carol parody I wrote on Thursday inspired by this thread. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> The delay of posting this was caused by not only the forum being down for a while, but my intention to create an audio file of the song. I created a few that I wasn't satisfied with. Oh well. It's to the tune of <i>The Christmas Song</i> that starts with "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire."

    <b>Flayra's On His Way</b>

    Gorges falling to machine gun fire
    Quick skulks nipping at your spleen
    Bouncing grenades into an umbra cloud
