Replays

A few hours ago, I had one of my most exciting matches yet in over 100 hours of play. We were the Marines and the map was Summit. The Aliens controlled Crossroads throughout most of the game but after many minutes of hard work and with the assistance of two dual-minigun Exos, we finally pushed into their territory and took down one Hive after another until we'd won the game.
Unfortunately, that somewhat vague description of a wonderful match is all I've left. And it's all you're ever going to get.
In comes the idea of replays. Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could save replays of some of our favorite matches? Replays are a staple in the real-time strategy genre and Natural Selection 2 already includes an excellent Spectator mode, so it seems like those two components would go together like peanut butter and jelly. Perhaps some servers could be designated to save replays after every match and store said replays in each player's (in that server) "Replay" folder. Replays would of course be dated so that you'd know exactly when the match took place, then you could go back and re-name them through the Main Menu if you so desired.
I apologize if this idea has been discussed many times before.

Exactly! I don't want to have to remember to use record every single time I enter a server.
