Why does the infestation do this?

Ok So I tried playing around with the Infestation! Does anyone know why it gives me this transparent texture?

I'm no pro with texturing but I'm learning. So any help is appreciated

    That doesn't look like a bug but more of a mod, however if no mods installed (in the main menu, mods, click on one to activate/deactivate) try deleting you cache, should be located here: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\cache

    looks like one of those blood infestation mods, check your mods section to see if there is a mod enabled for that.

    Guys If you would've read what I wrote you couldve helped me. I said I played around with the infestation, changing the colour. I wanted to know why it turns transparent even though I saved the files in the correct format
