connection issues with new (239) build

hey guys,
myself and a few mates are having connection issues:
- we can load ns2 and update server list as normal
- we can connect to a game (modz, assets etc all load as normal)
- when we enter the 'ready room' to select which team to play on the 'red connection issue' symbol appears
- the game timesout after 1min
- players all have normal, working internet connections; with different ISP's
- other games work fine (TF2, BF3 etc)
interested to know if this is an ongoing issue for others as well and can it be fixed?
