Constant crashing after leaving the ready room since B238

As soon as I join a server I'll be in the ready room with no problems but as soon as I select a team my game will do one of two things; BSOD or just instantly crash the game and its graphics which can be best described as a multi-colored mess with a few hints of the UI showing (# of eggs and time until respawning). During this time the music you hear after joining the side just loops until the system is restarted. Before B238 dropped, I was playing on B237 that same day with absolutely no problems.
I have updated to the latest video drivers, tried verifying the game cache (all files successfully validated), and even did a complete reinstall of the game. These problems have continued in B239. My system specs are the following:
AMD Phenom II X2 550 @ 3.1 Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
nVida 9800 GTX+ running the latest 310 drivers
Windows XP 32-bit updated to the latest SP
ASUS M4N72-E Motherboard
I really hope a solution is found soon. I miss biting Marines =(

Edit: Played a full match as Marines without issue after installing Razer's Gamebooster and setting Infestation to minimal, textures to low, and turning off atmospherics. Mods can lock the thread.
