<div class="IPBDescription">My textures flip on and off</div> Using GeForce 3 with 41.09 drivers, XP SP1 and DirectX 9. Lately I am experiencing textures that flashes or disappears entirely. Specifically at the glass hallway on Hera, or the underwater parts. What gives?
I am also noticing white tear lines at texture junctions. Is this part of the game or a driver issue?

Save and exit then load up Natural Selection and let me know if it fixed it. Hope it helps!
DONT EVER EVERY USE A MICROSOFT PRODUCT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO DRIVERS!
Directx 9 is released and it doesn't say beta on it.
Has anyone else experienced getting "You must install DirectX 8 to run..." style error messages attempting to launch apps / games that used to work under DirectX 8.1 before you "upgraded" to DirectX 9 (or 9.0a )?
I've had this happen in both WinXp (SP1) and Win2K (SP2). I've got an NForce 2 motherboard (MSI K7N2G-ILSR which also happens to be known as the "MS-6570") and an ATI Radeon video card (and an 8500DV which will be tested with DirectX 9 soon). I'll also be testing with a VT333 based system.
Thanks,
