How hot does your cpu/gpu get when running NS2?

Obviously this will depend on your cooling setup on your CPU and on the GPU, but I'm interested in getting to know some other peoples experience.
Lets get started, right now im getting around 60C on my CPU during load, and around 70C on my GPU.
Screenshots would be useful as well, so i will post some i got from HW monitor.
Some basic specs of my pc
i5 2500k oc'ed to 4.3 Ghz
H100 cpu cooler
Asus DC II GTX 670
Now obviously the h100 plays a huge part in keeping my cpu at 60 or below on load. Just for reference with a stock cooler my cpu would easily be at 80-90C.

PS get some real water cooling :P :P
HD4850, no idea but I hope it dies in a fiery death!
CPU temp is always in my tray (for almost 4 years now), just because one time in the past bunch of smoke came out of my old cpu when I was playing games (and everybody knows that cpu depends on that magic smoke inside it and when it leaves your cpu, it's dead ^_^)
I don't get it. I'm well under 60c on my 4.0Ghz OC'd Core i5 2500K and I'm using an Alpenfohn Matterhorn Pure CPU cooler (air). I'd say I'm probably about 49°c-53°c when playing on NS2. I use OpenHardwareMonitor, which is pretty similar to what you use.
When I go to BIOS on a normal startup it show temps above 120F that quickly fall off within a few seconds to slightly above room temp.
Any advice? Rather than fill the thread, PM me.
AMD user huh?
AMD HD 6950
Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme
CPU seems to max out at 61C while my GPU peaks at roughly 80C.
Nope.
GPU: 75C
- i5 2500k @ 4.3 GHz @ 50-60 °C
- Thermalright True Spirit 140 Cooler
- Asus EAH6970 DirectCu II @ ~70 °C
Playing NS2 maxed out @ 1920x1080Honestly... I surprised your CPU hasn't failed already if it is getting up to 90C......
And additional cooling due to:
-lack of storm window (my room rarely gets above 18C during winter)
-No discrete GPU (no extra heat and better air flow)
-All settings on low
Cpu: AMD A10-5800K APU Dual core 3.8 Ghz
Idle: 22C
highest I've ever seen it: 37-40C
I don't think this is right, compared to every one else this is ridiculous.
Am I missing something?
not really sure what you are trying to achieve by collecting these temperature figures - or you just trying to justify spending too much on a cooler ? :P
I'd guess it goes around 70 to 80 on the gpu. and around 60 to 70 on the cpu but I aint checking.
CPU: i7 2600k @ 4.6 Ghz w/ Hyper 212+ Dual Fan Heatsink
GPU: nVidia GTX 480 @ Stock Clocks
This screenshot was taken after 30 minutes of play on a full 24 person server.
CPU never exceeds 64 degrees celsius. GPU hangs around 85 degrees celsius (which is normal for the GTX 480, which runs hot. Skyrim pushes 95 degrees celsius on my rig).
Screencap attached.
P.S. This is with every graphic option maxed out, except Ambient Occlusion, which is set to Medium. My average FPS = ~60 on a full server. It can get as low as ~40 with a lot of structures.
Also, ignore Windows 8 Performance monitor which says "i7 2600k @ 3.40 Ghz." It is overclocked to 4.6 Ghz.
Look at RealTemp in that picture, it says I'm running at "1941.82 Mhz." That's because I have my processor overclocked in such a way that it clocks itself down when it is not under heavy load. It usually idles at 1.6Ghz (1600 Mhz) when not in use. The 3.4Ghz you are seeing in Windows 8's Performance Monitor is not accurate. However, Performance Monitor does show the right (or close to right) "Speed" underneath the bar graph. Nevertheless, it says "Maximum Speed 3.4 Ghz" to the right, underneath the graph. It's just Performance Monitor being wonky. I am running at 4.6 Ghz.
Have a look at these same screens under Prime95 load. (Attached)
I'm more curious about how much each is utilized with other people. Obviously the cpu is running full load but my gpu rarely hits 60% in game. It's often only about 40% until late game then it's in the high 40-low 50 percent range for the most part. I tend to have a fairly stable 30 fps on average, and only play on 16 player servers because on 24p it's nigh unplayable from mid to late game.
What is strange to me is that my CPU is NOT running anywhere near 100% load, not even on a single core. Why isn't NS2 utilizing my processor more?
EDIT: I semi-retract that statement. It does look like one of my cores is nearly maxed out the whole game and the others are working at 20-40% as well. I guess just "overall" NS2 isn't able to utilize all four cores or the hyperthreading technology of my 2600k. And I understand, programming for this kind of processor is a nightmare, etc. I'm not complaining, just making an observation.
My build:
FX 8120 @3.1 (Turbos to 4.0)
Radeon 5670
CPU idles at 35C, and goes to 52C when NS2-ing.
GPU goes up to 65C
The 8120 has the stock cooler and aftermarket thermal paste. The aftermarket thermal paste made a huge difference. Highly recommend using aftermarket thermal paste at the very least for this CPU, or better an aftermarket fan too. It runs incredibly hot when all 8 cores are maxed. This thing needs half a nuclear reactor to keep it energy happy.
