these "frontiersmen(really?)" should get some space allies. Basically it'd be cool to see marines get a single melee lifeform, something like a zealot.

    This sounds like an interesting idea in theory, however, I think it would be more fitting to either see a dual fisted exo for something like 20-30 res or a chainsword (think WH:40K). Maybe even let us use a pistol in one-hand while wielding the upgraded melee weapon in the other?

    That's cool, but I'm still really in favor of adding aliens that are allied with humans.
