What would this consist of, exactly? Would there be a limit to how many you can build? Who would build it? T.Res. or P.Res.? How much? How much health does it have? How big is it? Can you stack them to make a ladder? etc, etc, etc.
Seeing as most comms are currently using various buildings for this exact purpose I do think that this is something that needs to be looked into.
How does the marine....'make'..... the clog?
What is it meant to defend against? Clogging up an enterance won't stop skulks if there is a gap, it will just stop line of sight.
welding doors, or prehaps 2 pylons that create a force field between them, blocking incoming projectiles but allowing laiens to pass thorugh, or blocking aliens passing through but allowing porjectiles
It would make more sense to use T.res so you don't have 60-240 marine clogs up just because everyone is running around with a welder. Some sort of snaring device to slow aliens might be more effective because it wouldn't block sight or movement, which the marines depend on heavily.
how about a Nano wall that would block a hallway (similar to Khomm's bone wall). There's already a nano shield that covers a person or object... why not take that same "nano-tech" and make a wall. Obviously will have a cool-down and some res cost.
I don't see why the aliens get bone wall and will also soon have webs to inhibit marine movement. What does the marine comm have to protect retreating marines? What option does the comm have to protect the flank of a marine push?
well i made this idea to stop onos and gorges the other aliens will just pass above them, gorge/onos team will damage the marine base heavily if not stopped quickly so the M.E.S.(mobile energy shield(?)) will delay them enough so marines can go to that base and stop the attack its more like a last ditch effort so marines can re-group and try to get back the game aliens can save their base with cogs put in strategic places so the other aliens can attack the marines, have M.E.S be researchable

But honestly, give marines stackable steel boxes! FORTS I SAY!
