[BUG] Invisible parts of commander's UI prevents placement of structures

It's very noticeable on very low screen resolution. In red zone (see screenshots) you can't place anything.
640x480
800x600
1024x768

In my opinion that's happens because UI has invisible parts of UI.

I know this is a couple of weeks old now, but there's not been any response, and I have the same issue as Uzver... Is this a known bug?

    System Specs:
    AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor 2.80GHz
    4GB DDR3 RAM
    Nvidia GeForce 9500GT
    Windows 7 64bit

(I'm stuck with an 800x600 resolution due to low fps, and the 'dead zone' takes up a fair chunk of the screen)

It's very sadly that it's still not fixed. This "feature" is very annoying when you play with a low resolution. Also how about correct support of console command "r_gui 0" for a commander? I mean it's should not react to UI when you clicking to invisible area of UI.

I don't understand what you mean regarding disabling the gui for commander view. Why would you want to do that in a game?

But like I just posted it's been reported already and I'll mention it to the devs / increase it's priority.
It's been a lower priority and that may be based off of steam's hardware survey results regarding statistical use of those resolutions.
