Is there a way to bind the extra sounds?

I was wondering if there is a way to bind the sounds in the hold X function like "cover me", "hostiles", "im covering you" and "lets move" to keyboard functions? I have a nostromo game pad and a Logitech G700 mouse so i have buttons to spare and sometimes I come across some players that don't speak English so using the mic they don't respond to what i say in a combat situation and results in us getting killed because they didn't understand me telling them for example that i need cover when building something or that I've see hostiles when they are building.

I highly doubt it considering that you can't yet bind the mouse wheel or bind multiple buttons to a single command. The key binding functions still need some work

is there no file that contains the hold X menu that could be edited? like it says on the hold x menu "[T] Taunt" perhaps if we could find that then we could edit the rest of the menu? the mouse wheel i suspect is something different to that menu and more like a root function where as you can change the selection of each weapon like a secondary function the same as taunt can be changed which is on the hold x menu, i could be wrong but it seems that the menu functions could be changed somehow if we could find the file that holds those binds.

    Edit:
I thought i'd have a poke around in the files to see if i can find anything, so far i found in "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Natural Selection 2\ns2\lua" a file called "BindingsDialog.lua" which holds the default bindings and the hold x menu is actually named the request menu, makes sense. so im thinking there could be a file somewhere that holds this request menu (there must be right?) so im gonna keep poking and see what i find.

I also found in "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Natural Selection 2\ns2\ui" both the alien and marine request menu files but they are in dds format which notepad++ has no idea what to do with so i cant view whats in the file to know what those buttons on the request menu are linked to in order for the command to happen.

If anyone has any ideas from this point they'd be welcome.

I miss spamming chuckle in a vent near Marines, somehow it isn't as fun with the current setup...

You can do it via the LUA files, but that's no help if you want to play on consistency check servers
