Alien Flashlight Broken (Build 240)

Since I installed the gorgeous update my alien flashlight is broken. The problem is that the marines are not glowing red any more, they're the same greenish color like the walls, making alien flashlight useless for me. However, the cysts and power nodes are still glowing red just like they're supposed to.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I've tried validating my steam files but it said all was OK.

Actually this fixed itself by doing a validation of the steam files :)

Hmm... problem appears again.. I think it's specifically on large servers this problems comes up. Cant seem to load models/model whatever when I join a large server...

And the log file indicating what models where not loaded etc. you can find it in %appdata%

After more testing the problem seems to be unrelated to any unsuccessfull loading of models that pops up in console when connecting to a server.

    Here is my dxdiag:

    Are you running any mods?
Verify by unsubscribing from any in the mod menu in game.
Then go to your hidden %appdata%\natural selection 2\ folder and delete the "workshop" folder.
(and really you can also safely delete the cache folder too just to test but will cause that first time compiling on map load which can take a while)

I have been having the same issue (http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/128780/alien-vision-gorgeous-issue).

Mods are definitely the cause of this issue, I unsubscribed from all mods and set all of them to inactive in the game menu and the alien vision reverted back to normal. I have deleted the workshop folder and am going through the process of installing essential mods again to see if I can pinpoint the problem mod.

I will try this more direct fix later tonight, but after having the same issue and removing all mods that messed with the affected files I still got the issue. Hopefully we can pinpoint the issue. I will continue to post here with information as it comes.
