the distance inside the gorge tunnel is as intended currently from my understanding. It's not diff than compared to the marine pg's in that it takes the same amount of time to phase from one pg to another regardless of how far apart they are on the map.

Im from his team, we are brazilians, we wanna play in NA with better ping.
i know directip as tunneling service but its pretty bad, theres anything that can help our ping be lower in NA EU servers?

I wasn't even aware there was a method to achieve lower pings / overcome the physical limitation of latency from copper and light over distances?
Thought that was a pretty solid limitation of modern technology and materials?

Some companies offer private internet tunnels to businesses needing fast access to servers across the world. While the service does provide higher bandwidth and lower ping, it will probably be not as low as you would like. Plus, its expensive.
Round trip Brazil to US is around 10000 miles, resulting in an inherent ping of ~55 -- plus any additional hops and processing time. This means the best you can hope for is 90 ping to US servers. More realistically, I wouldn't expect less than 120 in good circumstances.
i agree with you... But im getting a much higher ping atm... like 230~240 when im sure it can be 180 at least....
in WOW my ping did got better ... but those tunneling services only offer full support to those pop games... i need to configure NS with putty and proxie

Less hops, lower ping. I've played with it in other games when I needed a lower ping (less hops to server) for competitive play. I've even had a friend tunnel to my box, when they needed a lower ping, because it was a quicker route.
So, if a guy in Australia wanted to play on US servers, they may get a tunnel to a US box that's close to East/Mid/West coast servers. The tunnel should be a faster route (less hops) than the if they went without it.
Last time I used it, it was like 6 bucks a month. Pretty cheap.
OP- Need more details. Settings, a screenshot of the manual tunnel config page (with personal details blacklined or blurred).
Also, I've played with a 200-240 ping. It's not all that bad, if it's stable.
