    If it crashes does it produce a error or log?
    Can we have a screenshot of that log?
    If it creates a dmp file, can we have that file?

    Need more info like
    - By crash do you mean your PC is BSOD/resetting?
    - If so, are you overclocking?
    - PC specs would also be helpful

    Though, the various spark tools (map, cinematic editor, model viewer, etc) are still pretty buggy/crash prone, as UWE has spent most of their time making sure the game, rather than the tools, work. The best advice I can give to anyone using the tools is to save after every change (i.e. become a ctrl-s pushing fiend).

    If your pc freezes it technically is still in a bluescreen. Actually worse, it failed to get in a bluescreen as the kernel crashed in such a way that it failed to produce one.
    That is VERY impressive.

    Only time I saw this happen was with a massively dying SSD where the OS ran on, unfortunately it happened to be mine. XD
    And with only time I mean weeks upon weeks of testing various things untill I slapped myself and returned to basics, as in.. test the disks. :p

    If you have a ps2 keyboard, instead of a usb one, you may get SOME reaction if you enabled the manual crash dump key combo by registry, but other then that..

    * Go check event viewer for errors, there are bound to be.
    * Do hard disk checks.
    * Update your ahci/raid drivers.

    Still not excluding other hardware or deeply corrupted windows.

    having a BSOD is bad, but NOT having one, when you should have one is far far worse.

    But It`s only the editor that does it.. and my ssd and hdd are okey.
    Bios and drivers are updated

    If i close everything down and wait
    then i can load the editor up again. But if i do it too fast it crashes

    Did you really checked your SSD/HDD with a software or just "yeah it works, my hdd is okey"?

    Because it could be it if the editor is somewhere your HDD is damaged.

    I will repeat myself because aparently im not clear yet.

    When windows crashes on its kernel it will go in a bluescreen. If it freezes/crashes not the program, but windows and windows FAILS to get in a blue screen, than this is very VERY bad.
    According to your description you have this worst case scenario. The editor does not run in kernal mode, drivers do (for example). Hence it is crucial that you will check drivers and hardware!

    What regnareb said is a possible situation, but in essence it could be any driver or hardware. My experience points to harddisk, hence I suggested that one first.
