<div class="IPBDescription">talk about avatars</div> i have nothing better to do right now, so lets talk about avatars i guess, mines dark knight cecil from Final Fantasy four, for any of you that don't that. he doesn't look bad, (for a 16-bit system anyway). comes from the same game as edge, hence my name. both of them are my favorite characters of that game, then comes Dragon Knight Kain.

anyway, what do you have to say about your avatar?

    I suppose I'll discuss mine before I ship this topic off, though. I took a 32-bit sprite of Protoman from Megaman 8 or 9, and MS Painted in a guitar. Yes, I didn't even use layers.

    Originally, mine was this marine from NS looking upwards (it was from one of the screenshots from one of the beta builds, RC5 I think) - I just animated it so it fades in and out. He's also there in my sig (complete with the skulk behind him, though you can't really make it out).

    for the:

    body: recon torso(gives greater LoS)
    left arm: katana
    right arm: rocket launcher

    there are 3 layers, underground, surface and orbit, you can make elevators to the underground, and "teleports" to the orbit(there's floating island in the orbit)
