Nobody can see my black armor ;_;

Before you ask, yes I'm sure I bought the right edition. I even double checked and made sure the dlc was installed on Steam. Both black armor and deluxe are installed. But when I try to select them in the options, nobody is able to see it. I can also see myself as I spawn in through an IP; regular old green 'rine. Doesn't make any gameplay difference, but dammit I want strangers to shower me with recognition for something trivial!

    you can't change your armour type ingame, or at least it doesn't instantly change to the armour you select. You have to select your armour and then restart the game for it to take affect.

    Doesn't matter whether I change it from the main menu or ingame. By the time I get to a new server I still have the default armor on

    On a side note, against all odds I was awarded a Third Anniversary badge to this forum about an hour and a half after making this topic.

    No mods. I've seen other people with black and deluxe armor though so I know it like... works
