  I've gagged someone on my server using admin_mod, and after I ungagged him he had to restart 3 times before it worked. Seems like it modifies settings instead of nuking the voice server side.

  not to mention, set your config.cfg to read-only, prevents admin nuking, it's somewhat annoying to have to exit to rebind tho, but it protects ur settings

  on a somewhat more disturbing note...after trying to work my voice comm after using all your suggestions...it still doesnt work...i have tried the following:
  
  - tried the valve tweak system...works perfectly
  - tried all your ideas
  - tried other programs with voice comm, work fine.
  - re-setting all my controls.. nothing wrong.
  
  mmm...any ideas?
  
  i have also just pmd a member of the server...
  
  
  my conclusion?
  
  shout very loudly at the admins until they fix it for me..
