Power Surges

What if whenever a power node is destroyed it causes a % damage to all structures in the room (except for sentries and batteries since they are on their own power). Say anything from 10%-25%. Or a power surge could deplete all armor on structures while leaving hp intact... Although I'm not sure if every structure has armor or not.

It would give more incentive to hitting the power more often and add favorable conditions to the aliens if they can knock out power to a Command room. It would also add more value to single alien strikes.

    Destroying the power and occupying marines to rebuild it isn't reward enough? You need to add some more annoying busy work of repairing every structure in the room? Please not.

    You could always research a surge protector :D

    Isn't disabling the room and likely taking out the command chair incentive enough?
