<div class="IPBDescription">not working for ns2</div>Hey guys,

since the ns2 join and query port are not the same steam browser protocol will not work (steam://connect/217.114.214.131:23485). Is there any other way to let players join by clicking on a browser link (without 3rd party software)?

This can be fixed by using the query port.

    For example:

    steam://connect/nextlevelgaming.net:27015 should become steam://connect/nextlevelgaming.net:27016

If your urls allow spaces, steam://run/4920//connect 12.34.56.78:1234 password

    If they don't, steam://run/4920//connect%2012.34.56.78:1234%20password

    (%20 = space)

You don't even need all of that though. The steam://connect/ipaddress:queryport is enough. I have it all functioning on our site now.
