I really liked that wips where able to throw back grenades. Instead of having it now removed i would like to see it reduced.
Here some ideas:
-let majority effects the range, so for example if the majority is 50% it can throw back half of the final potential.
-don't let wips that are on fire throw back grenades
-if a whip get's shot give a delay of 0.5 second before it can throw back grenades.
-make the grenade throwing a cheap upgrade
-make the aim of throwing back less accurate

Hmm, perhaps allow Bombard Whips to throw their bombs to melt grenades? But then again, bombard trajectory is often unreliable (lol throw at ceiling when Marine is standing in front).
Maybe Bombard Whips can whack a grenade, using its unthrown bomb to melt it, then have to cooldown as though it was thrown?
I think Andi does not want structures (Whip) to counter an anti-structure weapon (Grenade Launcher). I agree with him that it is simply very un-fun for marines.
I do like to see Whips get an active ability to make them more threatening against early game Marines, though (temporary damage/attack rate boost/AOE attack). Shotgun rush is too powerful right now in BT.
Additionally, Whips should be able to use its melee attack after attacking with Bombard. Whips become defenseless for too long, after marines bait them into using their Bombard throw.
And grenade spam prior to the knockback during the beta was totally unfun for aliens.
Whips now serve no purpose...better to buff up hydras (ala OC chambers) and remove whips as without knockback of grenades they are just expensive clutter.
15 pres for a grenade launcher in the BT mod just seems weird. The shotgun, GL, and Flamer should all just cost 20 imo.
I think the grenade launcher should be more effective against structures, but less effective against units. Or give one of the Aliens an ability to counter the grenade's damage - maybe a Gorge bile-bombing his own structures could provide a sort of "shield" so they take less damage from a grenade than otherwise?
