Will Natural Selection 2 run on windows 8?

Hey all I was wondering if this game would run on Windows 8. The games on sale for like 8 bucks on Steam. Thanks to anyone who responds! : D

    After a quick forum search, yes it will!

    However if you have an issue, others have found it to be a directX not installing issue, so all you'd have to do IF you have an issue is

    head to \Steam\SteamApps\common\Natural Selection 2\redist\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe in your main drive and run the setup

    However only do that if you have trouble running the game, if it runs fine then you're good to go!

    Have fun, and if you're a first timer to ns, I recommend checking out the rookie servers and asking for some help from the other players (take note that a lot of the tutorials are now outdated due to a recent update.. but a 'feeling' tells me this will soon not be true)

    Currently my machine is split between Win 8 pro x64 and ubuntu 13.04. Game runs fine on Win 8.
