  Sorry, I wasn't clear. I mean the mod list in game, where we select which ones are active. That list is getting difficult to manage as it gets longer and longer.

  Nope. No sorting of that list is possible. You can remove all mods you aren't subscribed to from that list by deleting the %appdata%\Natural Selection 2\Workshop folder.
