Just want to know everyone's opinion?
Do you feel Flame Throwers are too effective against Gorges?
When playing a gorge, they seem to make very short work of Babblers, Hydra's and the big gooey Balls ... but wanted to know everyone else's opinions? Just feel Hydra's ought to be more Fire Resistant than any other Structure.

Hydras weren't flammable until recently, but I think it's a good change. Just get a skulk or two to help out and chomp him down.
Alternatively, you could try to put your Hydras not next to an entrance, but further away to force a flamethrower to really commit to entering a room as they are less likely to do if solo.
And +1 for calling clogs "big gooey balls"
Reduce flamethrower structure damage, add a new melee weapon that damages base structures instead (my example was a chainsaw in that topic.)
Flamethrower should be like a bile bomb variant for the marines, doesn't do much damage unless there's multiple players using them, but should have a decent 2-5 damage period like bile does. Right now it just butchers everything, there's no weak point, maybe make carapace have a reduced fire damage since it's already been nerfed to nearly useless?
Another good addition would possibly be an overheat.
Any reason why this change was implemented? What were the repercussions for not changing this?
I see everyone's points though and thinking of how Hydra's work vs Marine Turrets, it probably does make sense, just frustrating that they can't hold out to at least get a second shot off before dying, especially as it cost's a Gorge 9 res to build 3 up every time they are destroyed.
