Can you mods please lock these threads from now on, its becoming ridiculous.
I would bet money every claim of cheat made here is totally false. Some people are exceptional players, its a disgrace that if someone has a really good game or is a really good player they get thier name and won id spammed all over this forum and called a cheat.
Theres never any proof, and I agree that on the odd occasion someone is probably somehow cheating, but the numbers are not even close to the scale of the claims made in servers and forums.
If you get owned, show some god damn dignity and accept it instead making false claims and abusing a persons name.

I agree, cheat claims are stupid and using a name doesnt mean anything. If someone wants to go in and ruin a game, do you really think they'll use their own nickname? Even if they do, you can rarely know for sure, and a nick doesnt mean anything. (WON ID would, but how can you prove he cheated?)

Right, but WE can't see that without actually seeing it. People are asking us to rely on their words. I'm sorry, but that doesn't work for me.
In CS, it's usually pretty hard to spot real cheaters (except the idiot ones).
In NS, it's usually blatantly obvious - things like aliens with marine skin, people abusing map bugs to get where they shouldn't be able to, etc.
As for reporting specific cheaters, better to report it to the admin of the server they were playing on as no reputable admin is going to start banning people based on forum posts. =(

Its not a skinhack its an exploit and all you have to do to execute it is type a simple command into your console as a skulk. I have been banned from MANY servers with the admin saying i hacked... Ive been accused of.... carapace exploiting.... pistol exploiting, speed hacking, wallhacking and of course... aimbot... cause ya know... where would the world be without bite bot and auto bite <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Cs really has ruined the half-life community as far as hackusations.... Just have fun play and take it as a compliment when people say your skill are un-naturaly good.

you must be very fortunate to of never met any.
all the posts i have made have substantial evidence...however, i agree that there are some here that have no evidence and are completely useless.
please dont say anything stupid like this again, because there are cheaters out there, and they are spoling the community, and its right to stop them.
and yes, bug exploiting is cheating...i hate that goddam skin hack bug. bring on 1.04, and well see less cheaters...until they find another cheat....

Oh yeh and for skin hacks, aye its blatently obvious thats a cheat easy to prove, I really meant the aimbot/skill type cheat claims which are just as common, but most likely highly skilled players.

This is not cheating, it's called exploiting
The skin-exploit is fixed in 1.04, so is the siege and a lot of other stuff
So I agree, lock the cheat-posts, cause I have never ever seen some-one cheat (and I'm an addicted NS fan)
I do see some ppl go gorg, spam res-points with sens or off or anything and go marine
I do see aliens using the ***************** (censored due to no more Eploiting) exploit
I do see marines siege 2 hives from 1 spot
I do see commanders build a lot of cc's and then go alien
I do see marines hide in vents and abuse the hitbox-thing
These r all exploits, and sometimes they get kicked, sometimes they don't get kicked, but get yelled at.
These r not cheats, they're flaws in the game (no offence flayra, it's a really great game) and will all be solved in good time.
So stop wining/reporting and stuff, do something constructive.
