They're always wearing jetpacks?!?!
Hey guys... I've been having this problem recently. I downloaded the marine model with the hudson style armor that's wearing the shoulder lamp and motion tracker and for some reason all the marines in a game will be wearing jetpacks even when the comm hasn't researched them yet. Of course it's a model glitch, but I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it.
Has anyone else had this problem? and if so were you able to fix it??
Any help would be great thanks..

Isn't there a separate model for jetpack? If so, delete it, go to play and let the client download the missing model, then exit and go back to the models folder and replace the new, downloaded model with a new AvP style model.
Once again: No clue if this works, just wanted to figure out something
maybe it is sposed to be there?
Frankly, I think the AVP2 Apesuit skins that replace the Marine HA ones look quite bad. However I use them because they don't hold the smartgun HMG skin vertically like the originals skins do. Is there any other option besides these apes?

There is a submodel in the soldier mdl... Submodel1 (w/o jetpack) and Submodel2 (with jetpack)
