Directional Onos Armor

The Onos is a tank. A big, beefy, alien tank. As such, I think the armor of the Onos should reflect this real world comparison. In a modern battle tank, most of the armor is placed in the very front of the vehicle, some on the sides, and very little in the back. This is dictated by how tanks engage targets on a battlefield (usually from the front).
Adding this mechanic to the game would do two things. One, it would give marines a sound strategy for countering an Onos with LMG's. Flank him and attack from behind. Two, it would force a change in Onos strategy to make the highest lifeform think twice about turning, and high tailing it back to safety when the machine guns start firing. What sense does it make that an Onos turns and runs like a scared puppy everytime he gets shot at like you see in the game play these days?

I think directional armor would be great, give more of a reason to shoot a running Onos.
And possibly reason to give Onos babblers
Although I see the Onos more like an Assault Gunboat in Tie Fighter. Give me shield energy management! Deflectors down!
