All-seeing eye is a nice browser with lots of pre-made filters for us lazy ones. Though, most of the times when I try to get a new server-list, it gives me this **** "IF YOU WANT THIS TO TAKE LESS THAN 9495438 MINUTES PLEASE REGISTER MISTER 'CAUSE YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THIS PROGRAM KTHX!@"...
Gamespy has two great browsers, fast and all, but if you don't register it'll show an ad everytime you start it. Not as annoying as ASE, though.

What about HLSW? And I have to pay for these things? Well I paid for my copy of Half-Life 4 years ago and have been doing very well not spending any money on comps since. Sounds like the standard HL is just fine.
No you DONT HAVE TO pay for them. If you do however you get extra features...such as removal of ads or a larger buddy list and such. IMO The Eye is much better than anything Gspy has ever made.
You won't have to pay for them unless you want to get rid of annoying ads/popup boxes, and they are a damn sight more flexible than the standard HL browser.
Gamespy and Gamespy Arcade are bloated, flashy pieces of onos dung. <!--emo&::onos::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tiny.gif'><!--endemo-->
The ASE "scanner full" messages can get irritating, but the program itself is so superior to Gamespyware that you should be able to live with it (try switching to a different scanner... HomeLAN and eDome).

I think GS is cheaper, also...
