Marines should also be forced to get a 2nd and 3rd base to gain higher techlevels and spend resources to gain higher techlevels. If the commandcenter is taken out the spent techlevels are also lost.
For the Advanced armory at least a 2nd cc should be needed.

Justification:
Marines can turtle on one base, because they dont really need a 2nd one for their higher techstuff.
When aliens loose a hive its a big hit for them and most time it all goes down the drain very fast from this point on.
Furthermore. If marines loose a base they nearly dont take as much damage resource- and techwise as aliens.
Even the upgrades are kind of virtual. You just have to rebuild a single armslab and you got alle upgrades running again.
Marines: Single Armslab: 20 Res, Can include up to 6 Upgrades (3 Weapon, 3 Armor)
Aliens: 6 Upgrades -> 6 Upgradebuildings -> 120 Res to rebuild the lost upgrades.

    I'm actually okay with that. Other than stating the obvious, that biomass is a retarded mechanic in and of itself, marines need zero other chairs to tech up. The only reason I drop another chair in game now is to ghost a tech point to prevent a hive drop.
