My tech problem is when I start the game the menu buttons work but they don't go any where, just has the button move to the side, I understand that this problem is all over the forums but nothing that I have tried seems to work. I have tried re installing the game, verifying catch, deleting appdata files, I really don't know what is wrong. This game has worked in the past so I don't know what went wrong with it now. I think it might be the anti aliasing but i cant get to it considering the game wont open any of the tabs on the main screen. Thx to any one that can help me with this problem.

Exactly the same problem as bob.

Updated nvidia drivers, cleared %appdata% folder of NS2, verified steam files, deleted shaders folder, deleted steam files reinstalled, basically the whole shenanigans done

    Problem remains

It probably has to do with the system_options.xml file , could anyone post one that works for them?
i think the game configurates this file wrongly at startup due to my system setup or w/e, thanks everyone!

Please verify your installation though steam. After you delete all the files the game needs to download them again.

I verified the installation through steam and it now works. i had to uninstall it and re-install it because i deleted those folders from earlier.

@bob50625 uhhhh.. you shouldn't be able to run this game at all??

    "Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000"
NS2 (like almost any other game) has a minimum requirement of a dedicated graphics card. In this case, one with 1 gb of memory.
You have an integrated graphics card.. which is not at all meant for gaming.
How are you even running the game on that?? (not to mention the low 2 ghz clockrate??)
