'Epic' music won't stop playing on Aliens

Since a recent patch (not sure exactly when), I've been on Aliens, heard the epic music start when the hive gets low... and then it just keeps going for the rest of the game. It's happened at least twice now and is SUPER annoying. I often command, so it might have actually been as Alien Comm, I'm not exactly sure.

If it comes up again, are there any workarounds? NS1 had stopsound.

    Yeah we'll known bug... Only work around I know of is to turn your music volume all the way down in the settings menu.

    Any help you (or anyone else) can provide on repro steps for this would be greatly appreciated. So far we haven't been able to narrow this one down.

    For me there is a workaround.
    I have to look later which option it exactly is... (not at home at the moment)

    It is something simple like:
    When the bug occurs:
    Open Menu ingame.
    Go to sound options.
    Disable ingame music.
    End Menu.
    Re-Open Menu.
    Re-Enable music.

    Bug is gone. :)

    I tried this. There's no 'disable music' that I saw, just a slider. I set it to zero, went back into game, back into the menu and moved the slider back, then back into game again but it was still going.

    Or am I missing the 'disable music' button?
