  It is not possible to upgarde your bagde sadly. Also it's pretty sure that this possiblity won't be added in future.

  Many are still hopping for a new tier to be added after shadow. If that happens i'm sure there will be a way to upgrade

  It would be nice for those who have purchased a previous tier to then upgrade. How this could be implemented with the system that you currently buy them is beyond me, since they are through key codes and not an add on like the dulex upgrade.

  All I can say is you can wait a little bit and see if UWE decides to add additional tiers that go above Shadow, which is something they have considered after seeing how quickly Onos sold out. If they do that, I imagine they'll also add in a tier-upgrade system to make some extra money from people who purchased Shadow because it was the highest tier and would be willing to give even more. Sales have slowed pretty significantly, which was to be expected after the hardcore crowd made their donations, so perhaps they will give this some consideration.
  
  Otherwise, you'll have to decide if you want to increase your total donation to $95.

  I reckon the biggest reason they aren't allowing you to upgrade your tier is because:
  
  You could simply buy the lower tier, get the keys and then upgrade to a higher tier. Getting extra unlocks in the process which you could give to a friend or more likely people attempt to activate both and the current system likely doesn't account for it.
  
  The humble bundle does allow you to upgrade your bundle if the sale is ongoing but I doubt they got a system in place for third party sales.
  
  The way the sales have slowed down already, I doubt they will put much more effort into it.
  Also a lack of bundles makes upgrading worthless for shadow tier.
