<div class="IPBDescription">Ph33r my restarting skillz</div>Har har.. This might be my last restart of ns_shaft, but then again I say that every time ;o Ill get some more pics up pretty soon (maybe today), just need to rework this area a bit and finish some of the things around it.

    just one question, with the sets of three panels on the side the two lights dont seem to be lighting the middle panel, looks a bit strange.

    That looks really, really great Ekaj. Very nice lighting work!

    Just one little question... what on earth is motivating you to restart this level every week? I can see this fitting in perfect with some of the other shots you showed a while back... even the ones from back in January!! Why not keep what you've already done?

    i usually like texture lighting more than entity light or spot_light...but i like the effect you have on the walls - it's subtle but really really realistic looking <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    This shot is wonderful.  I like the lighting and the architecture in here.  I also really like the nice transparent grating.  I might suggest finding a different texture for the supports, as that vent texture seems a bit streched.

    I got this area almost finished now, btw this part is right outside of the marine start and will be a big choke point with 3 alien entries, 2 vents and 2 marine entries to the area, And of course 1 resource giver thingeh :O If the marines can hold this area their spawn/command center will be safe except for 1 vent that leads to the marine start.

    I really like this, it looks so clean but still it has lots of atmosphere, I like the subtle coloured lights you use, and yeah better finish this before you start getting the urge to restart again, better turn that urge in another map <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Man... Lovely work, Ekaj. I just came across this map today, and I really like it. You're truly adept at mapping. I can't wait to play this map... Can't wait to play any map, really. As long as it's NS! And I agree with the rest of us. If you restart this, I'll force a Level 5 to sit on you.

    Those shots look amazing, and I hope you continue with that theme because it really stands out.  Personally Id really like to see some large rooms done in that color/archetecture theme.  Keep up the good work.

    I spent time learning photoshop/making textures so my map would look different then the others, it would lose that if other people started using them, and its far from a complete set right now anyways. I might release them later, but they arent really done now and I dont have many of them. Btw I fixed up the area a lot and sent some screens to monse so the rr might have some screens of the finished version of this area (might do a little texture tweakage still).

    Black Dog: Yeah Im kind of planning as I go, Ill go draw some if it now.

    Yarrrr1!!!! Whenever I use an apostrophe it comes out like this: ’ how come other ppl can use them but not me D:

    Hmm.. this is really great Ekaj, just like everything else you have posted on these forums.  The only problem I can see though is on that 3rd pic (the last one) where the texture on the lower wall thats facing us seems a bit bland.  It may be the shadow 9it probably is), but it just looks blakc with a pipe along the bottom...
