I LOVE comedies like The Jerk
I enjoyed The Lord Of The Rings alot, can't wait for the 3rd.

If you liked the GodFather then you should watch The Krays and
The Untouchables, both classics.

Comedy films are the best, then action, then horror.

Innocent comedies (not Kevin Smith movies, though I enjoy those sometimes). I prefer movies without profanity and a light touch of humor. Hooray for LoTR.

I enjoy any decent comedy movies, action films, fantasy movies, and movies which make you think.

I'll watch anything from Back to the Future, to Legend, to Monty Python, to Apocalypse Now. Depends what I'm in the mood for at the time, really.

I just bought Natural Born Killers on DVD, and I shall be watching that some time next week (along with Yellow Submarine).

Movies based on real happenings.... It gets you think, like Pearl Harbor, you think after it but you really can't understand why, or What, you are thinking... And movies that make you cry. (Again, Pearl Harbor)

I adore action movies, comedies, and the ever present horror films. Evil Dead and Dead alive come to mind as choice movies...

You gotta love the classics. Movies such as Citizen Kane(the greatest movie ever by the way), Harvey, or All Quiet on the Western Front. You just can't beat those. Then there's anime: Akira, Perfect Blue, The EVA movies, and anything done by studio ghibli come to mind. Once in a while I'll watch one of those random comedies like Airplane, Kentucky Fried Movei(funniest movie ever), Mafia, Blazing Saddles, now that I think of it, anything by Nealson, Brooks, Bridges, or the Marx Brothers. The only really good American movies that have come out in teh past 19-15 years(LoTR excluded)are inteligent comedies like Being Jhon Malcovich, Tarintino films, and Clerks(none of teh other Kevin Smith movies compare to Clerks, although Mallrats is second)

And when all else fails, watch a really bad movie for a good laugh. Plan 9 From Outer Space comes to mind.

I like anything. Favorites include Citizen Kane, Memento, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction, and many, many others.

There's a favorite movie thread floating around in here somewhere- give that a look.

And I saw this film a while ago at a mates house, i think it was called Bowfinger or something, tis well funneh. At the end of all these dodgy goings on, this film crew make a reallly really (yes, REALLY) cheap film, just to take the **** out of kung Fu movies ( not that i dont like em), and they named it "Fake Purse Ninja's" and it was about all these ninjas making fake purses and some ninja cop has to stop them lol

And yeah i also like war films. I watch anything to do with fighting, guins and war. Anyone in UK seen the Band of Brothers series? set in WW2 and stuff, thats good.

I can't really name a genre I prefer... Generally, I'll give everything a try and then complain about how I wasted 9 perfectly fine bucks.

Among my currently favorite movies are...

The Aliens Triology
Star Wars - A New Hope (it never got that good again)
Matrix
The Lord of the Rings
American Beauty
Blade Runner
The Sixth Sense

Plus some indie anime most of you haven't even heard of (Serial Experiments LAIN, anyone?).

I wanna see Blood Work. My faves:

Lord of the Rings
Star Wars

I like violent movies for some odd reason.
