Hello everyone.
I have a bit of an issue. Last night, I jumped into NS2 after a while of not playing it. Anyways, as I was enjoying a match. My PC suddenly did a Long Beep. It surprised me since it was the first time doing such thing. Anywho, I ignored it and kept playing the game. After 15-20 Mins. after the first Beep, the PC did a 2nd Long Beep. That's when I got scared and realized something was wrong with it, so I turned it Off. Then, I noticed that the case was pretty hot. The Computer had been On for about 10 hours. My Bro had played 3 League of Legend games which lasted around 20 Mins. each. After that, nobody used the computer for about 2 hours until I got on it and did some Web browsing for around 2 hours before jumping into NS2.
I really need some help here figuring out what could have caused the Beeping so that way, I can look into it before something bad happens to my PC.
Help will be greatly appreciated.

Could the beeping be to warn me about it?
But why had it not done it before. I've played many games on my PC. NS2 is not even a high graphic game that requires a beastly pc to run it. My PC can run Tomb Raider (latest one) very easy. Now, I am no Genius here, but I think Tomb Raider has better Graphics than NS2 (Not haiting on NS2 btw).
Also, based on CYRI, I could run Battlefield 3 on High Settings.

Actually NS2 is one of, if not the most Graphically and CPU intensive game out there. There's a lot of awesome graphical fidelity features in the game (have you seen those textures?).
If I want to heat up any of my computers, I run NS2, as it is capable of stressing both the CPU and GPU quite effectively.
Perhaps some fans are not even spinning?
I will open it up and clean it. Im positive it has dust in it. It has been a while since I last cleaned it.
Yeah, the textures in NS2 are pretty detailed. My PC was not meant for gaming when I first got it. It was just and ordinary PC. All I did was Upgrade the PSU to a 500WT one and add a AMD Graphics card in order to play a few games.
Anything that could help prevent my PC from Overheating?
And is it smart to invest such money on a non gaming pc. (I would not)
* start by cleaning out the dust. The biggest dust flake cleaning just takes time. If you are comfortable with it, screw out the fans and clean those as well. Naturally, no water.
* buy a can of compressed air or use a compressor on a low setting, get out more dust. (note to high pressure just destroys stuff like fans)
* take of the cooling blocks, cleanup any paste & reapply. (Doing this wrong screws you over and depending on voids warranty).
* replace fans by better ones. If money is not a big problem, I recommend noctua fans. Of course of correct size.
* replace the cpu cooling with a better one. Air cooling is huge. You can also go watercooled or use a 'all done' watercool kit like the H80 from corsair. (Need room for radiator and fans)
* add more fans, good quality like noctua.
