<div class="IPBDescription">Hey maybe someone can help me out?</div> Hey,
I was interested in mapping for NS. However, I have a slight problem. Worldcraft won't retain my game configurations. I follow the guide, click apply then ok. Then when i come back later it starts up again "No game configurations". Can anyone help me?

    If you have problems with Hammer forgetting your settings so you have to set it up every time, this happens to some CPUs. The version of Windoz you are using may be causing it (esp. WIN ME), or something else. The fixes I have heard of are:

    Using an older version or different of Windoz.

    Try to always use a User Profile.

    Make changes to the .wad files installed, then save.

    Change the save maps folder to a sub folder deeper down.

    try to configure [Worldcraft] and then create and save any map, even a single wall will do, you can exit the program and load again and your configuration files will load. If they don't however you can do the process again and it normally works the second time - sometimes.

    Open the My Computer folder and press F3 to open the search window. Search for files named *.wc. If you find them outside of your Worldcraft/Hammer folder, move them into your Worldcraft/Hammer folder. (Do this while Worldcraft/Hammer is not running) Things should work properly after doing this.....maybe.

    installing Worldcraft/Hammer into a path with no spaces (ie: C:\Worldcraft)

    Moving everything to the default setup in <b>c:/prog**/valve h***</b> which has spaces...conflicts with the one above?

    good luck. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Thanks Guys. I tried a couple things.. (Yes i'm using Millenium), I figured that the problem lied in the registry, there were remants of worldcraft all over, i cleared that up then installed Hammer and everything works beautifully! -Mothership
