Game optmization taking ferever (and ever), looks like stuck to Starting Loca Server

Hello guyz, i have a problem running NS2 since the latest patch. Everthing was fine a few months ago, and when i come back, theres the optimization process that is stuck to "stating local serv". There's no real "crash" and no error message, it just takes hours, without doing anything (and i try that in the lowest specs mode).
I tried every steps in the "know issues" poll, i tried reinstalling, installing DX from the ns2 folder, running without firewall, without antivirus, and i have no other ideas (my internet is fine, up to 50 - 75mb and max 26 ping all the time).
I'm runing win7 64bits, with 16gb ram corsair, a phenom II X4 955 cpu, and a 590GTX video card (everything was fine before that patch, i had the game running in full specs without any problems).

i have a killernetwork card, and i had to change the process priority for NS2.exe from 1 to 3, and now its able to create the local server.
