Game will not start on Steam

I have purchased the game via the Humble Jumbo Bundle, and was looking forward to playing this game, but when the window says preparing to launch Natural Selection 2, nothing happens. The Specs on my laptop are:

Quadecore Intel i7 processer

Intel HD 4000 gpu

Windows 8.

If anyone could help solve my problem, I would be most thankful. Have a nice day.

    NS2 doesn't support any of the Intel HD chips, it need a dedicated gpu as alot other games.
