[Linux: SteamOS] Mouse will move OR click but not both

I have tried two wireless mice now (one of which works fine on my windows machine in this game (logitech G700)). Basically everything seems fine until I get into combat. If I start to fire my weapon I can no longer move the mouse. It feels very revoluionary war. Point weapon then fire and hope something crosses it's path. I will update after I go get the corded mouse to try. But this is my Steam Machine for my living room I just built t and corded mouse is not an acceptable solution. So far this is the only game this happens in. TF2 works fine.

Any thoughts? I am new to linux, are there better drivers or something, or some crazy sudo command that fixes everything?

Odd, Can you post the contents of the following two files: log.txt and system_options.xml in ~/.config/Natural Selection 2

(its a hidden folder), the usual are you running mods questions apply.

We may also try try running the ns2 profile command, but first the logs it might be something obvious:)

I will post the files when I get home. The problem occurs in Sandbox mode. I am not running any mods that I am aware of but I will double check. I had manly mustaches a long time ago, and obviously when I play on public servers there are mods active but none locally.
