Left Clicking at any point causes my toon to randomly spin about 45 degrees and face floor

Title about sums it up. Just bought the game for Kubuntu Saucy, and it looks awesome, performs great. Except I can't shoot. Or rather I can, but I will shoot my own toes. My avatar spins (faster than you could ever do on purpose) clockwise and looks directly at the ceiling or floor. Continuously clicking will make me spin around in game like a dog chasing it's tail. This of course, renders the game unplayable.

Linux Kernel 3.11, Ubuntu PAE
NVIDIA proprietary Driver 319 - (Not sure of dot release atm, i is the stable one from Saucy)

    All steam game refunds are handled through steam.
    I've never heard of this and never seen it reported before.
    There are some linux related threads in here for you to track tho, if you please.

    @confused Know anything about this?

    I believe there was another thread that was very similar. I vaguely recall something about his specific gnome install but ultimately it was one of those things where it something no on else could ever reproduce. I want to say he did something like create a new user and it worked out but i might be conflating several issues.

    Dunno what exactly to suggest. I assume you have checked your settings in game etc.

    That said, it would be sweet to post your log in ~/.config/Natural Selection 2/log.txt and run sysinfo and post taht as well
